Earlier this week, The Friends of the Wickson District Library hosted their Annual Meeting, recapping a very successful 2025!

This group of 45 community-minded individuals added incredible value to Frankenmuth this past year through events like the annual Spring Garden Program with Abele's and their Rosie the Riveter Speaker event, held at Frankenmuth Credit Union.
In 2025, 15 volunteers from the Friends group spent a collective 337 hours working to keep the ever-popular Used Book Sale operating in our basement!
And all of that hard work resulted in over $5000 in donations back to Wickson District Library!
THANK YOU, Friends! You are an incredible asset to our library, and we deeply appreciate all of your hard work.
If you are interested in becoming a Friend of the Library, feel free to stop into the library to pick up a pamphlet with directions on joining. And if you've previously been interested in joining, but cannot accommodate the midday meetings, please email Amy Smock at: aasmock@gmail.com.
She is working to add an additional evening meeting time, if there is enough interest!
