Welcome to the beginning of Stage 2 opening. During Stage 1 your library staff checked in and processed over 1500 items! Covid-19 protocol was established for safely accepting, handling and distributing books. We are now ready to get books into your hands again!
Starting Monday we will accept reserves from our collection. You can reserve from our website by entering the catalog, logging in with your library card and password and browsing and reserving the books you want. You can also send a email to wicksonlibrary@gmail.com with your list, or just give us a call with your requests between 9-3 Monday through Friday.
When your order is ready we will call you with instructions for pick up.
Some of you might get a call about books you reserved before our closure in March. You still have the opportunity to check those out, including ones you ordered from the Michigan Electronic Library (Mel) collection. Unfortunately Mel is not activated at this time so new requests are not possible. We will let you know when you it is up and running again.
Although our hours are limited this week, look for extended hours to come. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to provided the resources and services you need. We are so happy to be back with the books!
