Frankenmuth Wickson District Library Announces Appointment of New Assistant Director Frankenmuth, MI — The Frankenmuth Wickson District Library is pleased to announce that Jennifer Rebecca-Bellaver Harden has been named the library’s new Assistant Director. Harden brings more than 15 years of public library leadership, outreach, programming, and marketing experience to the role, along with a strong commitment to community engagement and lifelong learning.

Harden has served the library since 2022 as the Adult Services and Outreach Librarian, where she has expanded adult programming, strengthened community partnerships, and enhanced collection development—particularly in the areas of large print and memory care resources. She has also successfully written and managed grants, curated innovative programming, and established meaningful outreach connections throughout Frankenmuth.
“Jennifer has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, creativity, and a deep commitment to our community,” said Michelle Duclos, Director of the Frankenmuth Wickson District Library. “Her ability to build meaningful partnerships, mentor staff, and translate community needs into impactful services makes her a natural fit for this role. I am thrilled to welcome her into the Assistant Director position.”
Prior to joining the Wickson District Library, Harden spent over a decade with the Public Libraries of Saginaw, where she held roles including Branch Manager, Marketing Librarian, and Adult Reference Librarian. Her leadership there included supervising multi-branch operations and staff, rebranding the library system, and designing system-wide marketing initiatives across print, digital, and broadcast platforms. Harden holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Wayne State University.
“I am honored to step into the role of Assistant Director and continue serving the Frankenmuth community,” Harden said. “My values and love of learning were shaped by my family and this town. Contributing to a place I love—and supporting the people who make it so special—is both humbling and deeply meaningful.”
In her new position, Harden will support strategic planning, operations management, community partnerships, and the ongoing development of innovative library services that meet the evolving needs of the Frankenmuth area.
The Frankenmuth Wickson District Library looks forward to the dedication, experience, and vision Harden brings to this leadership role.
