Mah Jongg Tournament


The library isn't just a storage building for books and a host for Children's Story Time- we are alive and bustling each week with tons of valuable adult programming, as well! 

There is truly a program or event for every person of every interest! 

Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities are invited to listen to stories, sing songs, and create a simple craft with Mrs. Emmons. We request that caregivers be present during Story Time.

Adult Sensory Storytime is held on the third Friday of each month at 10am. No registration is required!

Books for Lunch:
The 'no obligation' book club. Join us each month on the second Tuesday at 12:30 to 2pm to chat about all things books. The format is very informal. At each meeting, we'll hear about what everyone's been reading and get lots of book suggestions. Sharing is always voluntary.

Brews & Books:

You pick the brew; we'll pick the book! This contemporary take on a book club offers two different meeting times each month (you can attend one, or both!) 

Join Jen on the first full week of each month on Tuesday at 10am at Frankenmuth Kaffee Haus, or Thursday at 7pm at Michigan on Main! 

Cook the Book Club:

Do you love to cook and try new recipes? Join us for our Cook the Book Club and meet other foodies who love to cook too! We will meet every other month, share a recipe we have chosen from the cookbook potluck style and talk about what we liked and didn't like about the cookbook.

Wickson Reads Book Club:

This classic club meets the third Wednesday of each month AT Wickson Library at 6pm. Enjoy both fiction and non-fiction titles (many of the members tend to love historical fiction!) 
On the first Wednesday of each month from 10-12:30pm, the public is invited to join Jen in the Community Room for a complimentary cup of coffee or tea, conversation, and (of course!) COLORING! We set out all the supplies (colored pencils, coloring books, etc.) All you need to bring is yourself!

Join Jen on the fourth Friday of each month as she leads the group in some sort of arts & crafts project! Each month has a new theme, so stay tuned to our calendar and social media for the upcoming craft. Registration IS required.
On the last Wednesday of each month at 10am, adults living with memory difficulties and their loving caregivers are invited to join us at the library for a calming time of respite, conversation, a hot cup of comforting coffee, and a simple activity.  No registration is ever required- please feel welcome to join us!
